Amobi Okoye, Louisville
"Amobi Okoye." That'll be a fun name for announcers to pronounce this year, as the defensive tackle from Louisville is bound to make an impact. Okoye is strong enough to play the position, often able to get a good push to...[More]

PFCThe 2007 NFL Draft will take place from April 28th to April 29th. On the first day of the draft, teams will try to find impact players during rounds 1-3. On the second day of the draft, teams will try to find potential "steals" that are still available, as rounds 4-7 cap off the draft. It's always fun to predict what will happen during the first round of the draft, and that's exactly what I have done here at PFCritics.com.

This year's draft order could change dramatically this Saturday, depending on what the Detroit Lions decide to do. Many teams want wide receiver Calvin Johnson, and it wouldn't be a burden for the Lions to accept an enticing deal. However, I often feel that it's better to fill out mock drafts as the order stands, without considering trades that may occur.

PFCWe have added four new profiles today, all of them being wide receivers that are bound to be selected in the first round of the draft. Two of the receivers have blazing speed, while the other two rely more so on possession receiving abilities.

The added quarterbacks are Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Jarrett and Ted Ginn Jr. and Dwayne Bowe.

The Atlanta Falcons traded highly coveted backup quarterback Matt Schaub to the Houston Texans. In exchange, the Falcons will swap first-round picks with the Texans (Atlanta will now have the eighth overall pick, while Houston will have the tenth). The Falcons also received the Texans' second round draft choice for the next two seasons. In the end, the Texans paid a heavy price for their new starting quarterback.

Posted at 1:20 PM by ChrisPBrowns Get Third Pick in Draft

The Cleveland Browns won the coin toss on Friday and will receive the third pick in the NFL draft, instead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It seems as if the Buccaneers are interested in taking receiver Calvin Johnson, who will probably still be available when they are on the clock. The Browns are a team who could trade down if a team wants Brady Quinn and he is still on the board.
